1 All events shall be open to eligible swimmers according to ASA law.
2 Ages will be as at 31 December 1998.
3 The length of the pool is 25 metres.
4 No refunds will be made for withdrawals after entry cards have been sent out.
5 No entries will be accepted or changed after the closing date.
6 Incorrect entries will not be accepted and monies not refunded (ASA Law 412.3.4).
7 The promoters reserve the right to refuse or restrict entries.
8 Full result sheets will be available at the end of each session.
9 The order of events will be as per programme.
10 Entries will be seeded from submitted entry times with the slowest heat to swim first.
11 Competitors must post their entry cards in the boxes provided no later than 45 minutes prior to the start time. Failure to do so cancels the right to compete.
12 A swimmer who has qualified for a final and wishes to withdraw, must give notice before the end of the heats, in order that a reserve can be given the opportunity to swim.
13 Finals will consist of the fastest eight heat times. All finalists will be drawn from the heats.
14 Awards will be made to the first three swimmers in each event.
15 For heat declared events, where more than one age band compete, awards will be made to the first three swimmers in the age bands involved. ie 10/11 yrs; 12/13yrs; 14/15yrs; 16/17+yrs.
16 No entries will be accepted on the day of competiuon.
17 The promoters reserve the right to make any alterations to the rules as found necessary and all participants will be notified. Any laws not covered by the Promoter's Conditions shall be covered by the ASA Laws on Open Competitions.
18 Only your name, club, full date of birth and entry time will be entered onto the computer.
19 Competition result data will be sent to the ASA for Ranking purposes. All other information will be destroyed after 6 months.
20 This meet is designated by the ASA for entry into National Championships and Competitions.
