PROMOTERS CONDITIONS
1: The competition will be held under A.S.A. Laws and is designated by the A.S.A. for entry into National Competitions and Championships.
2: All entrants must be members of an Affiliated Club and Amateurs as defined by A.S.A. Laws.
3: The correct entry fees must accompany each entry form or entries will be treated as incorrect.
4: A large (A4) Stamped Addressed Envelope must accompany each entry form/batch of entries or the entry/entries will be treated as incorrect.
5: All entry times must be converted to a 25m pool.
6: Ages are as at 31st December. 1998
7: Competitors will only be allowed to swim for one Club or Squad during the Open Meet.
8: Cheques must be made payable to "Exeter City Swimming Club" and crossed "Not Negotiable".
9: Incorrect entry forms will not be accepted, no refunds will be made.
10: No entries will be accepted after the advertised closing date.
11: The Promoters reserve the right to refuse or restrict entries.
12: Warm-up time will begin one hour before the published start of each session (time permitting).
13: All Entry Cards must be posted in the boxes provided at least 45 minutes before the published start of each session. No late entries will be accepted.
14: Competitors must report to the Marshals (in the changing rooms below the main balcony) two events before their own event, competitors for the first two events of a session must report at the end of the warm-up.
15: Only Competitors, Officials and holders of a valid Coaches Pass will be permitted on poolside.
16: Events will be swum on a heats and finals basis except where indicated as HDW, the Promoters reserve the right to amend this condition should circumstances demand.
17: Heats will be seeded in accordance with the submitted entry times, the fastest six swimmers in the heats shall go forward to the final. It is important to submit the correct converted time to ensure proper seeding.
18: There will be awards to all finalists.
19: Points will be awarded for overall Club Trophy and Best Boy & Girl; 1st place 6 points, 2nd place 5 points etc.
20: All valuables/clothing etc., left in the changing rooms will be entirely at the owner's risk, lockers are available - these take 50p coins.
21: DATA PROTECTION ACT 1984 - Exeter City Swimming Club uses a computer to record entries and results. By submitting entries and accepting entry to the Open Meet, consent is thereby given (as required under the Data Protection Act, 1984) to the holding of personal information on a computer. Personal data recorded, such as name, club, date of birth and times entered/recorded may be made public during or after the Open Meet.
22: The Promoters reserve the right to alter or amend any of the above conditions as required.
