Air
On arrival at Glasgow Airport there are a number of ways to make the short journey into the City Centre.
Citylink Buses run every half hour on quarter past and quarter to the hour for a fee. These run from Monday to Sunday and will make a number of stops within the City.
Glasgow Airport also has a number of taxis which will take you on your journey into the Centre. You can expect to pay between £20 and £30 for a one way fare depending on the time of day you travel and the number of people in the taxi.
Hire Car firms are also in residence at the Airport and can be booked in advance when paying for your flight.
By Rail
There are two Rail Stations in Glasgow.
On arrival in Glasgow Central Station you may take a short walk north to Queen Street Station where you will find the Low Level Rail Platforms. If you arrive at Queen Street Station then you should make your way to the Low Level Platform and travel to Carntyne Station.
Carntyne Station will be found on the East line and Tollcross Park Leisure Centre is a short 15 minute walk along Shettleston Road and Wellshot Road.
By Car
Follow the M8 Motorway East towards Edinburgh and leave at Junction 12. Follow the A80 Cumbernauld Road towards the City Centre until you reach a junction with Edinburgh Road. Turn left here and follow Edinburgh Road/A8 East until you reach Springboig Road on your right. Turn right at the junction and follow Springboig Road and Gartocher Road until a T junction with Shettleston Road. Take a right into Shettleston Road and follow this until Wellshot Road appears on the left. Turn left into Wellshort Road and the Centre is on the right of Wellshot Road.
By Bus
A number of Strathclyde Transport (orange double-decker) and Kelvin Central (red single decker) buses operate links out to Tollcross Park from the City Centre. From St. Enoch Square or Argyle Street in the City Centre take Strathclyde Buses 61, 61A, 61B and 61C or Kelvin Central 43, 55 and 240. All of these buses stop on Tollcross Road which is a two minutes walk from the Centre.
