MASTERS 1500m FREESTYLE EVENT
UNDER A.S.A. LAWS

SUNDAY 29th NOVEMBER & SATURDAY 5th DECEMBER 1998
WARM-UP EACH DAY - 4.30 pm : START - 5.00 pm

Dear Colleague,

Please find the enclosed Entry Form for this event, to be held at our

8 Lanes, 25m International Pool, at the Barnet Copthall Centre, Hendon, London.


The event will take place over the two days
and we invite you to indicate which day you would prefer to swim.

Every effort will be made to accommodate your preference (if any)
but if the number of entries exceeds the Maximum Session Time on either day
then you might be asked to swim on the alternative date.

Maximum Session Time will be four hours each day.

Male and Female competitors will swim together, based on Entry Times.

There will be only ONE SWIMMER PER LANE in each heat.

Continuous warm-up and swim-down facilities will be available
throughout each evening, in the 25m Training Pool and/or Diving Pool.

TIME CARDS MUST BE POSTED BY 4.30 pm.

No medals will be awarded.

However, your Entry Fee (£6) includes a Programme,
a full set of Results with 50m Splits, and a Certificate.


        CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES - FRIDAY 6th NOVEMBER        
COLORADO ELECTRONIC TIMING AND COMPUTER SYSTEM

Will be operating at the Meet and providing the Results Service.
The Amateur Swimming Association
has approved the event for record purposes.

ACCOMMODATION
There is local hotel accommodation available at very reasonable rates.

Like last year, we are hoping for an enthusiastic response.
