Facilities: Pool

The pool is 25M, Eight Lane with Electronic timing. There are anti-wave lane lines.

The pool was originally a 33.33 metre pool and now has a boom added.

The swimming complex includes a separate 5 metre diving board and diving pool.

There is ample car parking facilities at ground level and within a multi-storey car park. Both are within yards of the Complex. Because the meet is in the evening, the outside view of the Centre is rather dark.

Drinks and snacks can be purchased from machines in the foyer. An undercover local shopping precinct is nearby.

Facilities: Seating

There is seating for approx 400 spectators in the balcony overlooking the pool, and plenty of room poolside for swimmers and their gear.

Individual and Relay medals

Awards will be made to the first three placed swimmers in each AGE GROUP for each event.

Awards will be made to the winning team in each relay and there is a cup awarded to the 'Top Club' on points.

The level of competition is at Club/county level with a few 'top swimmers'.

Incentives: Local Heros

Jayne Ball and Laurie Rackind, present and past holders of national and international master's records.

Upper limit is Age Group J (70+). Swimmers in older groups will be combined into Group J.

Competitors may compete for only one club.

Competitors must be registered with the ASA and be a member of an affiliated club.

If they wish to dive in at the start of the race, competitors must have reached the standard of the ASA Racing Start, and must perform a shallow racing dive. They must NOT tumble into the water head first. Competitors may start in the water.

Competitors must make themselves familiar with the emergency exits and vacate the building upon hearing the alarm, should this be necessary. The emergency exists must not be obstructed with swimming bags, etc.

Competitors must report any hazards that they observe to an official as soon as possible.
