WEST WIGHT SWIMMING CLUB MASTERS OPEN MEET
CONDITIONS 1. The West Wiqht Swimming Club Masters Open Meet will be held under ASA Laws. 2. Competitors must be members of the club they represent. 4. This competition is open to eligible competitiors only and the completion of the entry form will be taken by the promoters as an undertaking that the swimmer is a bona fide eligible competitor. 5. Events shall be swum in the order as indicated on the entry form. However, the promoters reserve the right to amend the programme order should circumstances demand. 6. Acceptance of entries will be acknowledged (please include an SAE with entry). No entry cards will be issued until day of Meet. Swimmers shall register upon arrival with competitors Steward. Latest registration time 30 minutes before first event. 7. Competitors should report to the whips two events prior to their event. (Whipping area spectator side, deep end of pool). 8. Top Club Trophy:- Points from the six fastest times in each event. ACE GROUPS "A" 25-29, "B" 30-34, "C" 35-39, "D" 40-44, "E" 45-49 "F" 50-54, "G" 55-59, "H" 60-64, "J" 65-69, "K" 70-74 "L" 75-79 Ages as at 31.12.1994. NOTES 1. ASA Law permits a competitor to start a race in the water, from the side or from a starting block. Only persons trained to dive from starting blocks into shallow ended pools should do so. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE STAFTING BLOCKS AT THE SHALLOW END OF THE POOL DURING WARM-UP SESSIONS. 2. During the warm-up swimmers must ensure that theytake no action which would endanger themselves or others. 3. In emergency the instructions of Pool Lifeguards or others in authority must be obeyed immediately. Exits must be kept clear at all times. 4. Anyone observing anything they consider to be a safety hazard must report it to promoter. 5. Everyone attending the event must take all steps to ensure their own safety and the safety of others.
