The competition is held subject to the following conditions:
| 1. Eligibility | Open to amateurs and professionals who are members of clubs affiliated to the ASA but a competitor shall only represent one club. |
| 2. Events | 1 Length (33.33m) Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly and
Freestyle 100m Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly and Freestyle 4x1 Length Freestyle Teams and Medley teams |
| 3. Age Groups |
A: 25-29 yrs E: 45-49 yrs I: 65-69 yrs B: 30-34 yrs F: 50-54 yrs J: 70-74 yrs C: 35-39 yrs G: 55-59 yrs K: 75-79 yrs D: 40-44 yrs H: 60-64 yrs L: 80 yrs and over Age at 31 December 1999. Dates of birth shall be given to ensure correct age grouping. |
| 4. Relays | The total age of team members shall be 160 years or over. |
| 5. Seeding | Events shall be seeded in time classification with the slowest competitors first irrespective of age. Any entrant who does not submit an entry time shall be seeded slower than the slowest entry. |
| 6. HDW | All events shall be decided on heat times with no finals being swum. |
| 7. Awards | These shall be awarded to the competitors placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age group. |
| 8. Closing date | Entries shall be received by 15th December 1998 but may be restricted to ensure smooth running. |
| 9. Entry fees | Individual events @ £2.00 per event; team events £4.00 per team. |
| 10. Entries | On the attached form (or photocopy) with the appropriate entry
fee. Cheques shall be made payable to "The Borough of

| 11. Re-entry | The card system will operate, and all cards shall be placed in the appropriate boxes at least 25 minutes before the advertised start time for the competition. |
