              ELEVENTH SUFFOLK MASTERS & OPEN MEET

CONDITIONS

1. The competitors shall be in accordance with ASA law 112 and professionals may compete.
   Law 112 states: "Competitions held under ASA laws where all competitors are required to
   be over 25 years of age in the year of competition shall be designated Masters Competitors.
   Professionals who are members of affiliated clubs may compete if the promotor's rules so
   provide. They shall be subject to the same rules and conditions as the amateur competitors."

2. For the purpose of protests, the promotor is Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre.

3. AGES as 31st December 1998.

4. SEEDED swimmers will swim in heats according to their time bands. From this heat declared
   winners will be announced.

5. Swimmers MUST be members of an affiliated club.

6. FREESTYLE & MEDLEY RELAY events will consist of swimmers who need not be
   members of the same club, BUT an individual swimmer may only swim for one team in
   an event.

7. POOL 25 metres length, 6 lanes wide.

8. Medals to the first three males and females in each group - each event and team relays.

9. ENTRY CARD system will operate and cards must be posted 30 minutes before the start
   of each session. Safe receipt of entry forms and fees by return entry cards (males/blue,
   female/pink) will be given ONLY if a 9 x 6" s.a.e. is enclosed.

10. Cards not returned will be available for collection and posting by swimmers in the 
    reception area on the day.

11. All events will take place at the Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre's 25m pool.

12. ENTRY FEES per event. Individual events £2.10, Team events £3.75.

13. CHEQUES to be made payable to "Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre".

14. CLOSING DATE for entries 15th April 1998.
