The 2018 winners of the Beds Masters Decathlon Challeng are, Liz Woolner (Flitwick) for the women and Marcel Scholten (Modernian) for the men.

Overall Beds swimmers have made a strong showing. For the women, competing against 1712 women, we have two in the top-100 nationally. In 8^th place is Liz Woolner with 5883 points and in 49^th place is Claire Evelyn (South Beds) with 4763 points.

For the men, competing against 2180 men, we have five in the top-100 nationally . In 12^th place we have Marcel Scholten (Modernian) with 5746 points, in 16^th Dave Cartledge (Modernian) with 5575 pts, in 24^th Graham Powell (Team Luton) with 5271 pts, in 32^nd Alex Mason (Team Luton) with 5103 pts and in 94^th Tom Lambert (Team Luton) with 4234 pts. The last two of these are younger swimmers with great talent.
