At the County Masters Championships at Newmarket on the 1st. October 2011, twenty one Bedfordshire Masters competed.
The outstanding swim was a British Record by Marcal Scholten (Modernian) in 100M Breaststroke in a time of 1:10.68 in the 45/49 Age-group.
Another notable swim was by Pat Reynolds (Beaver Masters Bedford) who broke the East Region 100M Freestyle record in a time of 1:23.09 in the 60/64 Age-group.
Many other Beds Masters records were broken.
