Inter Counties Gala - 19th November 2005
Thanks to all of you who swam and to Bee, Dave & Sid for their work on the poolside.
I spoke to the centre people about the cold temperature and they apologised to all. The pool temperature was 28.5C which is correct, but the air temperature should have 29.5C but was in fact around 25. They don't understand why and are contacting engineers.
 
This is the first time we have had the 19+ age group in this event and thanks to Nicola, Sally, Lisa, Kim, Robert and Carl for taking up this challenge.
It was also a first swim for us for Neil & Catherine - hope you will come again.
 
We entered 61 out of the 68 events. Those we missed were mainly for the lack of any 65+ ladies.
 
Alan Jackson & Dave Cartledge both got a clean sweep in their individual events - well done !
Other first places went to Paula & Marcel.

After that are the individual times for everyone including the relays. Hope it all makes sense.
