Aylesbury Relay Gala 2005

Thanks very much to all of you who took part in the Aylesbury gala. An excellent turn out and result -  third out of six. (Last year we were 4th out of 4).
 
The gala was longer than usual due to problems with electronic timing which never worked and a lack officials but I hope you all enjoyed it none the less. We also had trouble getting officials and thanks to my wife, Dot, for stepping in at the last minute to timekeep.
 
It seems that they changed the age groups a couple of weeks before the event but that information did not reach us or CMK so we raced as we were. However they do intend to carry this on next year which in essence is that the change over between the age groups comes at 40 rather than 35.

The points result is shown below and you can see we were very close to being second.
