Introduction
It
seems that the pandemic is ending and normality is returning
to the pool. The pools have re-opened and training and club swimming
is back to normal, even Lewsey Pool (Luton) has re-opened.
Competitions have restarted and are being run much as before the
pandemic. I have not heard if this is resulting in rising infection
rates, so presumably not.

Until the Beds ASA website is restored, a copy of the latest records and claims form has been put online in the Swimsite Beds Archive at
www.swimsite.freeuk.com/beds/records/

Competitions
New
competitions are appearing on the Swim England Masters Calendar, so,
if you are prepared to travel, look there. At the time of writing,
for 2021 it lists Etwall Eagles Masters and Barnet Copthall 1500M
Meet. For 2022 it lists Nottingham
CABSC 9th Annual Master’s Competition – PROVISIONAL and
Guernsey Masters International 29th Swim Meet.
New Records
The following new Beds Nasters short course records have been set at the Swim England National Masters Champs in Sheffield since the last Newsletter (October). No new Long Course records have been set.

Beds
Masters Decathlon Challenge 2021 (combined 2020 and 2021)
The
Decathlon is back and running. The following Beds results are taken
from the National Decathlon up to 7 November 2021. The National
results contain both the partial results for January to March 2020,
(about 16 competitions) and the results for 2021, mostly from
September 2021 on, (about 7 competitions) .
